The Glass Mountain Inn is a family-owned community of vacation rentals. An 1896 five-bedroom main farmhouse, two adjoining apartments, and private guest cottage sit on one and a half beautiful acres across from the Esopus Creek with 360 degrees of breathtaking Catskills mountain views, a short walk from the scenic town center of Phoenicia, New York. Husband and wife team Jeff Bailey and Brooke Baxter Bailey each spent over a decade in Brooklyn, making their mark as part of the cultural fabric that exists in Williamsburg today.
Brooke Baxter Bailey’s group of Brooklyn-based businesses, including Glass House Gallery, founded in 2004, The GlassLands, founded in 2006 and The Manhattan Inn Piano Bar and Restaurant, founded in 2009, received critical acclaim from The New York Times, New York Magazine, Esquire, The New York Press, Eater, CNBC, Time Out New York, to name a few. Attracting performances from bands such as Vampire Weekend, Grizzly Bear, MGMT, Moby, Lana Del Ray, Thurston Moore, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Brooke is often lauded for creating unique and beautiful environments.
